Trust me, you want to spend your money for a nice hotel on the strip!!

You can get cheap rooms for like $100 a night at the not so big hotels like the Monte Carlo or Excalibur that are still on the strip. You’re close to all the casinos and wont need a car or hardly need a taxi.

Hooters is inexpensive (just behind MGM Grand). Also, most downtown hotels (ie Binions, Plaza, El Cortez, Four Queens) are good if you’re on a budget.

The El Cortez is cheap hotel/casino. It’s on Freemont St. You can look it up at any of the travel sites.They give you a good deal on the flight & hotel for one good price. There is also one more alternative. Motel 6. I stayed 2 different times at the one on Boulder Hwy(right next door to the Boulder Station Casino. They have a couple more Motel6′s also. I like that one,because it is out a little ways from everything . (What I mean from the strip)There is another Motel 6 on Tropicanna.,just a short ways from the strip,if you like that. There is another one,but I can’t remember right offhand where it’s located. Hope this helps. Have a really good vacation! & Win Big Good Luck!

Last time I was in Vegas I stayed at the Tropicana which is on the end of the strip. We bid for our hotel on priceline and got it for about $100 a night. It was a nice place and the cheapest we could find on the strip. The Tropican wasn’t too fancy but it was a lot of fun! I have not stayed anywhere off the strip so I can not give any advice for that, just make sure it is in a good neighborhood because some of the areas can be a little shaky.

There’s a Motel 6 on Tropicana just east of the MGM Grand.Basically on the same property there’s a Super 8 on Koval I’ve stayed at both many times w/ no problems.
I’m one of those” just give me a bed” kind of guys that has no use for big and expensive hotels

Okay, first off, you don’t need to rent a car (save your money) you can take a taxi, or walk, everything is pretty close, people walk all over the place in LV.

Secondly, you can stay at one of those fancy hotels, for very little, as they often have deals. If you see a hotel that you like, sign up on their web site (they will send you specials). Also, try the Paris Hotel, of the hard rock. you have find what you’ll pay for the best western, to be the same price. Also try, circus circus.

Also if it’s your first time, just a little FYI, When you are in the casino. You get free drinks, Yep, a beer or whatever you want. Just tip the gal. Go to the MGM Grand and see the White tigers, Walk to strip. Don’t forget your camera.

There are lots of “Weekly & Beyond” rental places that are actually a studio apt for $200 a week give or take. Most have pools, work out room & kitchen(some have dishes, etc!)
Call Seigal Suites or look in the apt guide(a national free publication w/web site – not sure of the web address) There’s Harbor Island(or might have been bought by Seigal) that is a 3 minute walk from the Hard Rock.

Three years ago when I was looking to move here were Excalibur and Circus Circus (and a few others that no longer exist). Stay away from the Motel 6 and America’s ‘Best’ on Tropicana by Hooters….. dirty, noisy, and an unsafe feel.
